Off the slopes, Bansko tempts the shopper in the group with a surprisingly vast selection of retail outlets.  You really can get all that you need here and more. Regardless of you are looking for groceries, souvenirs or a little self-indulgence, Bansko delights with its selection and variety of shops.

Everything available, just like home...

You'd be hard pressed to name an everyday item that you can't buy in a Bansko store.  The town has a good grocery store, well stocked pharmacy, more than enough local souvenir shops, and the usual ski and snowboard shops that one would expect in a resort town.   There is a pleasant mix of folksy art objects and enough designer labels on ulitsa Pirin to make the town shopping experience at once unique and comfortable at the same time.

Local arts & crafts ...with a twist

The market on Sundays on ulitsa Tsar Simeon is a great place to get cheap souvenirs.  There is also an interesting selection of low priced clothes on offer at the market as well.  This is a great place to stock up on cheap sunglasses and interesting shoes. The local souvenir shops which can be found throughout the town and virtually on every corner sell traditional hand-woven rugs and pottery and rustic wooden kitchen utensils as well as woven ethnic fabrics and clothing.
